PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine with a supercharger capable of surely discharging the dew condensation water in an intercooler without impairing the performance of the internal combustion engine, and causing the backflow of an exhaust gas. SOLUTION: This internal combustion engine with a supercharger is provided with a condensate drainage channel for connecting a lower part of the intercooler and an exhaust channel, an on-off valve mounted in the condensate drainage channel, an operating condition detecting means for detecting an operating condition of the internal combustion engine, and an on-off valve control means for closing the on-off valve in the operating condition of very low output area (A area) where the pressure in the intercooler is lower than the pressure in the exhaust passage, and in the operating condition of high output area (C area), on the basis of the detecting information from the operating condition detecting means.
