An atomizing component and an electronic cigarette. The atomizing component comprises an e-liquid storage cavity (1) used for storing an e-liquid and an atomizing core component (2) used for atomizing the e-liquid in the e-liquid storage cavity (1). The atomizing component (2) comprises an atomizing base (21) that is overall a hollow cylinder and an electric heating wire component (22) arranged in the hollow of the atomizing base (21) and extending in the axial direction of the atomizing base (21). The electric heating component (22) comprises a hollow e-liquid absorbing column (221) sleeved within the atomizing base (21), a first electric heating wire (222) coiled into a cylindrical spiral and sleeved within the e-liquid absorbing column (221), and a second electric heating wire (223) coiled on the exterior of the e-liquid absorbing column (221) into a cylindrical spiral, where the inner circumferential surface of the e-liquid absorbing column (221) is affixed to the first electric heating wire (222). An extremity of the atomizing core component (2) provided with the atomizing base (21) is inserted into the e-liquid storage cavity (1). Also provided on the atomizing base (21) is an e-liquid inlet (211) used for guiding the e-liquid in the e-liquid storage cavity (1) to the e-liquid absorbing column (221), thus allowing the first electric heating wire (222) and the second electric heating wire (223) to atomize the e-liquid on the e-liquid absorbing column (221). The atomizing component is capable of increasing the volume of the e-liquid atomized by the electric heating wires (222 and 223), increases the utilization rate of the e-liquid absorbing column (221), and is structurally simple and compact. |
