PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mail address conversion system capable of concealing an original private mail address by enabling only reliable family members and friends to utilize the original private mail address and notifying an unspecified majority whose character is still unclear of a public mail address. SOLUTION: A database server 20 retrieves and extracts the public address data of a transmission source and the private address data of a transmission destination from a database 30 on the basis of the private address data of the transmission source of mail data transmitted to the transmission destination from the transmission source and the public address data of the transmission destination, and a mail server 10 transmits new mail data obtained by overwriting the public address data and the private address data on the original mail data to the transmission destination.
