PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic preparing device for web capable of preventing a scratch of a tacky layer of a double-coated tape using a handling brush, and dramatically reducing a failure rate of pastering in a rotary printing press. SOLUTION: An automatic preparing device for web comprises a web supporting means, a mill wrapper peel-off means, a connecting preparation means applying preparation for paper connection on a top of a web, and an energizing means pasting the top of the web to the web, wherein the energizing means comprises a plurality of independent surface release treatment rolls. The position of the plurality of rolls of the energizing means corresponds to that of the one-side adhesive member. Diameters of the plurality of rolls range from 40 mm to 90 mm. The automatic preparing device for web uses an air cylinder for the energizing means.
