PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame-retarded polyester resin composition which can give a molding that is excellent in the prevention of dripping on burning, has no foreign matters such as agglomerates, has good surface appearance, and is superior in various physical properties. SOLUTION: This resin composition incorporates, in 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic polyester resin, 3-50 pts.wt. of a bromine-based aromatic compound, 1-30 pts.wt. of an antimony oxide compound, 0.5-10 pts.wt. of a resin composition consisting of a polytetrafluoroethylene and a 5-30C alkyl(metha)acrylate-based resin, and 5-90 pts.wt. of an inorganic filler.
