PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carton with a flat lid, composed of a carton main body and a lid connected thereto and designed so as to cover the carton main body with it, wherein the unsealing of the carton is easy, the carton main body is hardly deformed, and the lid is easily fitted on the carton main body in resealing the carton. SOLUTION: The lidded carton is composed of a bottomed, rectangularly cylindrical carton main body portion 1 having side surface sheets, a front surface sheet and a rear surface sheet, which are provided to a bottom sheet, and a lid portion 2 having side surface sheets and a front surface sheet, which are provided to a lid sheet. The lid sheet is connectively provided to an upper edge of the rear surface sheet of the bottom sheet, and a part of the lid portion is made unsealable as a lid. In the lidded carton thus formed, a fold line j for a hinge is provided which connects two points on the lid sheet, and by extending both ends of the fold line for the hinge, a lid sheet cut line is provided which extends to the point of intersection where it intersects with a fold line between the lid sheet and each of the lid side surface sheets 21, respectively. Further, a lid side surface sheet tear-off line is respectively provided which extends from the point of intersection and crosses each of the lid side surface sheet 21 while dividing it into two, one being an adhesive joint at which a part of the lid side surface sheet is adhered and fixed to each side surface sheet 11 of the carton main body portion 1 and the other being a non-adhesive joint. The lid side surface sheet tear-off lines and the lid sheet tear-off lines are cut, and the carton is thereby made unsealable along the fold line j for the hinge on the lid sheet as a hinge.
