PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the electrical connection reliability of male and female terminals. SOLUTION: Rear guide projections 13, 14 formed at an external connector body 11, and rear guide grooves 6, 7 formed at an internal connector body 4, are arranged outside, while an engaging projection 17 formed at the external connector body 11, and an engaging hole 8 formed in the internal connector body 4, are arranged inside. Consequently, even if a worker inserts the external connector 3 in the internal connector 1 in the position shifted state of the rear guide projections and rear guide grooves, the insertion of the external connector 3 is impeded by the contact of the rear guide projections 13, 14 with the internal connector body 4, so that the male terminal 5 is never bent by the external connector body 11.
