PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera mounting device capable of protecting a lens surface and a mirror surface while keeping a communication terminal compact. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a camera part 7 for photographing a subject and a protection cover 6 having a mirror part 8 for reflecting a subject on either surface. The cover 6 can move between: a 1st position where the lens surface of the camera part 7 is exposed and also the mirror part 8 faces the subject side when the camera is used; and a 2nd position where the lens surface of the camera part 7 is covered with the cover 6 and the mirror part 8 faces the lens surface of the camera part 7 when the camera is not used.
