PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light shielding photosensitive material roll in which a light shielding leader is less liable to slip from a photosensitive material roll in preservation and a photosensitive material sheet can easily be drawn after loading in a machine and to improve defective conveyance in a heat developing system. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material having the shape of the light shielding photosensitive material roll has 100-3,000" Bekk smoothness of the surface of the outermost layer on the side with an image forming layer, 50-1,500" Bekk smoothness of the surface of the outermost layer of a back layer on the opposite side and 10 to -500 mm curl value.
