PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inhalation head for a vacuum cleaner provided with a power brush in which cleaning performance is improved by improving ability to separate a heterogeneous thing and which is miniaturized. SOLUTION: The inhalation head includes a head case 61 which is connected by a cleaning machine body 50 and a connecting pipe 55 and in which an inhalation port 62 is formed at the bottom, a power brush 70 which is mounted within the head case 61 and a part of which comes in contact with a thing to be cleaned with projecting onto the outside of the head case 61 via the inhalation port 62, a support means 65, 75, and 77 which is fixed within the head case 61 and supports the power brush 70 in a way capable of rotating and linear motion, a rotating, driving means 80 which is mounted between the support means and the power brush 70 within the power brush 70 and rotates and drives the power brush 70, and a linear driving means 90 which is mounted between the support means and the power brush 70 within the power brush 70 and sets the power brush 70 in linear motion.
