MR APPARATUS WITH OPEN MAGNET SYSTEM AND QUADRATURE COIL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sensitivity of a quadrature coil system while making an MR device have a simple structure in the MR device provided with the quandrature coil system for generating a circularly polarized magnetic field. SOLUTION: The MR device is provided with an open magnet system and the quandrature coil system provided with a resonator synchronized with a synchronizing capacitor on at least one of the two sides of a stable magnetic field. The resonator is provided with two conductors of a large area arranged with a distance from each other and connected to each other at many connection points distributed along the circumference. Further, at least two terminals distributed along the circumference so as to receive or generate an RF magnetic field having phases shifted from each other are provided. This invention also relates to the corresponding quandrature coil system.
