PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve maintenability and safety by expanding a work space for cleaning the periphery of a rotary cutter of a meat slicer and replacing the rotary cutter. SOLUTION: A slide base 43 is fixed to an under surface of a cutter stand 13 for supporting the rotary cutter 14, this slide base 43 is slidingly fitted to a slide groove 42 formed on a cutter stand receiving base 41, and the cutter stand 13 is slidably installed. Thus, the rotary cutter 14 is slidably arranged in the shaft direction, and when performing slicing work, the rotary cutter 14 is moved to a slicing position indicated by a continuous line, and is locked in a state of being approached to a meat box 16. While, when performing maintenance work such as cleaning work of meat chips scattered to the periphery of the rotary cutter 14 at slicing work and replacing work of the rotary cutter 14, the rotary cutter 14 is moved to a maintenance position indicated by a continuous line, and a part between the rotary cutter 14 and the meat box 16 is opened to expand the work space.
