PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder injection type gas engine capable of being driven even if residual natural gas becomes less in a fuel tank and pressure becomes specified pressure or lower, completely using the gas in the fuel tank and prolonging a travel distance. SOLUTION: In the cylinder injection type gas engine (1), an intake pipe (5) and an exhaust pipe (7) are connected to a cylinder (3) and an injector (9) for injecting the gas in the fuel cylinder (12) and an ignition plug (10) are provided. A pressure sensor (13) is provided on the fuel cylinder (12). A control device (15) receiving a detection signal of specified pressure or higher from a pressure sensor (13) and injecting gas from the injector (9) at the time of compression stroke and receiving a detection signal of specified pressure or lower from the pressure sensor (13) and injecting the gas from the injector (9) at the time of suction stroke is provided.
