PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage apparatus which enables a patient to easily take in and out a remote control switch when it is in use or not in use, and which has fine appearance. SOLUTION: The massage apparatus is provided with a plurality of air bags 2...2 arranged overlappingly with each other in such a manner that they are caused to expand and contract when air is supplied and exhausted through air hoses 3 from an air supplying/exhausting devise 4. A housing box 111 that can house the remote control switch 5 is provided on one side of the main body 1 so that the patient can easily operate the remote control switch 5, and the pressure on a treatment part can be increased as swiftly as possible to improve massage efficiency.
