PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that intermediate pressure can not be maintained stable due to transmission of pressure fluctuation in a compression chamber to a frame space and suction loss is generated due to reverse flow of refrigerant gas in the frame space into the compression chamber in low speed operation to deteriorate stability and performance in a scroll compressor provided with a usual compliant frame in which an extracting hole connecting to the compression chamber and the frame space formed with a guide frame and the compliant frame always communicate with each other. SOLUTION: In the scroll compressor provided with a space of intermediate pressure atmosphere having gas at intermediate pressure in a middle of a compressing process supplied and getting a stationary scroll and a swing scroll into contact, a restricting means is provided in a supply passage supplying gas at intermediate pressure from the compression chamber to the space.
