PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply and surely manufacturing an antenna the manufacturing cost of which can considerably be reduced. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the antenna A where after a pressing smash tool P with narrow pressing projections 5 is inserted to an inner hollow of a cylindrical boom 1, the pressing smash tool P is moved in the inner hollow of the boom 1 to sequentially press and smash each rod antenna element 2 having been inserted in advance to a through-hole 3 and stretched into the boom 1 so as to support each rod antenna 2 to the boom 1 at pressed and smashed parts 15 in a removal disabled way, a range from D/10 to D/5 (D is an inner diameter of the inner hollow of the boom 1) from both through-holes 3 to which the each rod antenna element 2 is inserted at part of each rod antenna element 2 placed in the inner hollow part of the boom 1 is used for a non-narrow pressing area, the inside of the non-narrow pressing area is pressed and smashed by the narrow pressing projections 5 of narrow pressing bodies 6 to extendingly deform the non-narrow pressing area resulting in forming an extension lock part (t). |
