PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for cable capable of reliably preventing a cable from coming off by means of an anti-loosening protrusion, when a locked portion abuts against the anti-loosening protrusion due to movement of the cable, inserted into an insulator, in the withdrawing direction, while suppressing damage on the anti-loosening protrusion effectively.SOLUTION: A connector 10 for cable according to the present invention includes an insulator 20 having a cable insertion groove 21 into which a laminated cable 60 having a locked portion 63 can be inserted removably, an anti-loosening protrusion 26 protruding from the insulator 20, and facing the locked portion 63 from the withdrawing direction when the cable 60 is inserted into the cable insertion groove 21, and a metal fitting 40 fixed to the insulator 20. A tabular protrusion coating part 48 covering the side face of the anti-loosening protrusion 26 in the withdrawing side thereof, and perpendicular to the withdrawing direction is formed in the fixed metal fitting 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
