PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the accuracy of word correspondence of two languages in a translation sentence deteriorates in the conventional practice in the case that a word having a low frequency of appearance appears in the translation sentence.SOLUTION: A word pair probability information processor includes: a word pair information acquisition part for repeating word pair probability information acquisition processing for acquiring word pair probability information about the probability of each word pair in each translation sentence, that is, the word pair probability information about the probability of each word pair having each of one or more first words constituting a first language sentence of each of two or more translation sentences and each of one or more second words constituting a second language sentence of each of two or more translation sentences other than the translation sentences two or more times in each translation sentence by using initial word pair probability information of each word pair and two or more translation sentences other than a translation sentence to be processed; and a word pair probability information storage part for storing the word pair probability information of each word pair. According to the word pair probability information processor, the accuracy of word correspondence of two languages in the translation sentence does not deteriorate even in the case that a word having a low frequency of appearance appears in the translation sentence.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
