PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the breadth of apparatus. SOLUTION: A component which comprises a motor 5, a gear train 13 and a ball paying out body 7, and a ball passage 8, are arranged in parallel with an apparatus base 12 so that the component is located on the left side and the ball passage 8 on the right side. The gear train 13 for transmitting the power of the motor 5 to the ball paying out body 7 includes a drive gear 14 formed by a bevel gear secured to the motor shaft 6 of the motor 5; an upper, first intermediate gear 15 formed by a bevel gear which engages the drive gear 14; an upper, second intermediate gear 16 formed by a spur gear formed coaxially with the upper first intermediate gear 15; a lower intermediate gear 17 formed by a spur gear which engages the upper second intermediate gear 16; and a driven gear 18 formed by a spur gear engaging the lower intermediate gear 17 and formed coaxially with the ball paying out body 7.
