PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger which can avoid problems such as a power loss and complication of its composition which occur when a three-phase full- wave rectifier of a MOS transistor type is applied to a magnet excitation AC generator in which a magnetizing current control is not carried out. SOLUTION: A P-type substrate region right under a gate electrode of high side switches 31 to 33 is grounded. With this constitution, a battery voltage can be adjusted to a desirable level since a high phase voltage which arises at the moment when channels of the high side switches 31 to 33 are turned off in the case when the battery voltage is high can be prevented by a second parasitic diode D2 and the channels of the high side switches 31 to 33.
