PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem of a conventional crystal device wherein a reference signal generated from a crystal vibrator is greatly attenuated at a wiring layer. SOLUTION: The crystal device of this invention comprises: a substrate 1 including a mount part 1a on which the crystal vibrator 5 is mounted and a wiring layer 2 led out from the mount part 1a to an outer surface; a crystal vibrator 5 fixed to the mount part 1a of the substrate 1 via a fixing member 7 and the electrodes of which are electrically connected to the wiring layer 2; and a cove 3 fitted to the substrate 1 to hermetically seal the crystal vibration chip 5. The substrate 1 is made of crystalline glass containing 40 to 46 wt.% silicon oxide, 25 to 30 wt.% aluminum oxide, 8 to 13 wt.% magnesium oxide, 6 to 9 wt.% zinc oxide, and 8 to 11 wt.% boron oxide. The wiring layer 2 is made of a metallic material with a specific electric resistance of 2.5μΩ.cm or below, and the fixing member has an elastic modulus of 2.8 GPa or below.
