PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front underrun protector capable of being installed simply and heightening the strength of its part in the neighbourhood of the fixed part. SOLUTION: The front underrun protector 1 is installed under a front bumper by fixing a protector member 10 having a hollow section to stays 3 provided on the body frame 2, wherein a protector mounting reinforcing member 11 whereto a nut 8 is joined is inserted into the protector member 10, and through bolt insertion holes formed in the stays 3, a bolt 7 is inserted into the nut 8 and screwed fast, and thereby the protector member 10 is secured to the stays 3.
