VEHICLE OCCUPANT WEIGHT MEASURING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring weight of a person seated on a seat of a vehicle by arranging a strain gage type load sensor at a lower part of the seat while reducing bad effects on the comfortableness of the seated occupant and dimension of height direction of the seat in respect to the floor. SOLUTION: A plate member 16, for connecting upper rails 3a and 3b, fixed in the vertical direction at the center between the upper rails 3a and 3b and slidably supported in the longitudinal direction and a strain gage type load sensor constituted by a strain gage 17 provided on the plate member 16 are arranged in a slide rail comprising upper rails 3a and 3b and a lower rail 4 for storing the upper rails 3a and 3b.
