HOT AIR ROOM HEATER

PURPOSE: A hot air room heater is provided to reduce manufacturing costs by lowering costs required for arithmetic operation function, while allowing the heater to have a function of alarming the need of air ventilation. CONSTITUTION: A hot air room heater comprises a room temperature sensor(34); a first measurement unit(51) for measuring the width of the indoor area in accordance with the increase of the room temperature sensed by the room temperature sensor; a second measurement unit(52) for measuring the accumulated combustion amount of a burner(10); a memory unit(54) for memorizing the width of the indoor area measured by the first measurement unit and the accumulated combustion amount of the burner measured by the second measurement unit; a calculating unit(55) for calculating, as a parameter for determination, the ratio of the accumulated combustion amount to the width of the indoor area; and an alarm unit(56) for alarming the need of air ventilation when the parameter calculated by the calculating unit is higher than a predetermined threshold level.
