PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible tube coated with a layer of a thermoplastic resin composition having at least equivalent performance to that of a conventional PVC such as, for example, flexibility, wear resistance, skin pealability and the like. SOLUTION: The resin-coated flexible tube comprises a thermoplastic resin- coating layer formed on the outer peripheral surface of a metal tube, and containing 50 to 100 pts.mass of a metal hydrate to 100 pts.mass of a base resin containing 5 to 40 mass% of an ionomer of a copolymer of an ethylene component andα,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid component, 30 to 70 mass% of an ethylene propylene rubber and 10 to 50 mass% of a polypropylene.
