PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display which can be restrained from yellowing of a dielectric layer and generating dielectric breakdown. SOLUTION: For the glass constituting the dielectric layer 13, a glass is used which contains a metal oxide MO2 capable of tri- or quadri-valent ion arrangement. When Ag is ionized and diffused into the dielectric layer 13 from electrodes 12a2 , and 12b2 made of silver, the Ag ion is never coagulated into colloid, but also keeping ionized state. Therefore, the dielectric layer is restrained from yellowing and generating dielectric breakdown, caused by colloid of Ag.
