PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber roller which has good affinity with a recording fluid such as a polar water-base ink, does not leave roller marks on a printed part in printing, has rubber-like durability, elasticity and flexibility and resin-like good moldability, and is excellent in wear resistance. SOLUTION: A rubber roller 1 is molded by using a main raw material comprising a thermoplastic elastomer composition obtained by dispersing a rubber component containing at least one rubber selected from an oil-extended diene rubber, an oil-extended ethylene-propylene rubber and an oil-extended butyl rubber, or a rubber component containing a softener and at least one rubber selected from a diene rubber, an ethylene-propylene rubber, and a butyl rubber in a thermoplastic polyamide resin through dynamic crosslinking. It is desirable that a plasticizer is used as the softener and that the plasticizer is mixed with at least one rubber selected from the above-mentioned diene rubber and the like in a kneader so that the obtained rubber component is used as a master batch.
