摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a lean-burn operation up to a high speed and high load range and an operation with output A/F in a full load state via simple constitution. SOLUTION: An engine control system for a ship propulsion unit controls a fuel injection quantity according to intake pressure and engine speed until the intake pressure becomes substantially constant, and controls the fuel injection quantity to a rich side according to throttle travel and engine speed within a range having no change in intake pressure even when a throttle is opened. The fuel injection quantity is controlled according to intake pressure and engine speed until the intake pressure becomes substantially constant, and after throttle travel becomes fully open or after the intake pressure becomes maximal even if the throttle travel does not become fully open, the fuel injection quantity is controlled to a rich side according to a cam angle and engine speed.
