PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impeller and a pump capable of solving the demerit of a conventional impeller with a sweptback blades by realizing high pump efficiency as well as the improvement for a non-blocking property by adopting the impeller with the sweptback blades, even when used in a region of a small amount of water. SOLUTION: In the impeller 10 of a sweptback blade shape for a leading edge 22 of the blade at the suction side, a blade wheel part 20 having a blade part 21 and a main plate part 25, and a driving wheel 30 having a hub 31 are formed by separate members. These blade wheel 20 and the driving wheel 30 are fastened with a fastening means (blots) 40 to unit them. A fixing means (bolt) 45 for fixing the impeller 10 to a main shaft 50 of the pump is attached to the driving wheel 30 fastened to the backside of the blade wheel part 20.
