PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved camera for selectively displaying each different portion of electronic picture by simultaneously capturing an archival image and original image having wider image angle than that of the archival image, and also to provide a method of such display. SOLUTION: The camera comprises a body and a capture system provided within the body. The capture system may be driven to capture the archival image and an assessment image. The capture system specifies visual fields which are different for each image. The visual fields of the assessment image are wider than that of the archival image. A display unit is provided on the body to display the first portion corresponding to the visual fields of the archival image among assessment images and also display, through selective switching, the second portion which is not concentric to the visual fields of the archival image among the assessment images. In the method of using this camera, the electronic images which specify the visual field for inspection can be captured, and thereafter each portion of the visual field for assessment is alternately displayed selectively. |
