FIELD: rolled stock production, namely manufacture of hot rolled strips in continuous wide strip rolling mills. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of rolling in multistand continuous group at guiding speed and speeding up stands after guiding strip to coiler; performing rolling of leading end of rolled piece in first stand of continuous group at speed exceeding guiding speed at least by 1.1 times and after passing of leading end of rolled piece through said stands decreasing their speed until guiding value.
