PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectacleless stereoscopic video display device which has no extreme restrictions on correct view positions where a screen is stereoscopically visible and enables a multiplicity of persons to observe the stereoscopic videos without using special spectacles. SOLUTION: This device has video display means for alternately displaying videos for the right eye and videos for the left eye, rotary shutter means for making the videos for the right eye and videos for the left eye displayed by video display means respective independently incident on both eyes of an observer and device driving means for rotating the rotary shutter means.
