PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance heat exchanging efficiency between gas and air. SOLUTION: The heating system carries out indoor heating by air diffused from an air passage 16 formed around a combustion chamber, and it is characterized by that it has in the combustion chamber 11 a gas guiding means 15 of forming a flow of gas rising while spirally turning along a side wall of the combustion chamber 11 and an air guiding means of sending air into the air passage so that it is in an opposite direction to a flow direction of the gas. Consequently, residence time of the gas in the combustion chamber is elongated, residence time of the air in the air passage is also elongated, and heat of the gas in the combustion chamber becomes easy to transmit to the air in the air passage.
