PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a solid high polymer type fuel cell, easy to handle, accurately transferable to a prescribed position, and capable of automating its manufacturing process, by simplifying its structure, its separator, the solid high polymer type fuel cell, and a power generating system. SOLUTION: This electrode for a solid high polymer type fuel cell has a solid high polymer electrolyte film, an electrode layer formed on each of both surfaces of the electrolyte film, two reinforcing members to cover each of the external surfaces of the electrode layers, a seal member to cover the entire periphery of both reinforcing members from their end surfaces to their end parts, and the electrolyte film, the electrode layers and the reinforcing members are integrally formed in the electrode. A basic structure comprising a separator disposed so as to sandwich the electrode is formed as a unit cell, and the plurality of unit cells are connected in series in the structure of the high polymer type fuel cell. |
