PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a take-up device and a manufacturing method of a wound element capable of carrying out a stable take-up operation by restraining deterioration of a characteristic of the element obtained. SOLUTION: Two separators 3 and 4 are pulled into a predetermined position, and positive electrode foil 5 or the like is guided to a predetermined position so as to be held between the separators 3 and 4, and rolled up by turning a rolling core 22. By imparting back-tension to a chuck member 60 by a coil spring 54 during the rolling up, tension is imparted to the rolled-up positive electrode foil 5 or the like in the direction opposite to the rolling-up direction and thereby rolling displacement or the like is prevented. The chuck member 60 or the like is positively moved while being linearly guided toward the rolling core 22 nearly synchronously with the rolling-up of the electrode foil 5 or the like. Thereby the electrode foil 5 or the like is never needlessly pulled. |
