PURPOSE: A menu guide method in an image recording/reproducing system and a method of radiating a key button of a remote control are provided to output OSD menu image and instruction voice for guiding various functions of the image recording/reproducing system through the screen and speakers of a television set. CONSTITUTION: An OSD image and instruction voice for explaining at least one menu are output through the screen and speaker of an external connection device when a specific key is inputted(S12). An infrared signal for radiating a specific key button of a remote control, which is selectable on the menu, is transmitted to the remote control in radio(S13). The infrared signal is a bit stream signal. The transmission of the infrared signal is selectively carried out according as an infrared transmission mode is set or not. |
