PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb and eliminate vibration of an engine cover or the like of an automobile. SOLUTION: This vibration controller is provided with a piezoelectric strain actuator 2 mounted on a cover surface, a position sensor 3 for detecting the vibration of a cover, and a control circuit 21 for electrically driving the piezoelectric strain actuator 2 to eliminate the vibration of the cover. The control circuit 21 has an input circuit 22 connected with the position sensor 3 and an engine control unit 20 and outputting a signal related to a data signal and a vibration signal, and an amplifier 23 amplifying the output of the input circuit 22 to output to the piezoelectric strain actuator 2. The control circuit 21 adopts the data signal of the engine control unit 20 as a first estimated value to adjust the phase of a vibration on the basis of a feedback signal from the position sensor 3.
