PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector of a remote controller 7 in which a place where a missed remote controller is present can be detected by a simple operation. SOLUTION: On the side of electric apparatus, e.g. a television, an air conditioner, a lighting fixture, or other apparatus 1 subjected to remote control by a remote controller 7 transmitting an operating signal by radio, a detection operating means (a detection operating switch) 12 and means 18 for transmitting a detection signal to the remote controller 7 side upon operation of the detection operating means 12 are provided. On the remote controller 7 side, a means 23 for receiving the detection signal, and an informing means (a voice generating means) 16 operating upon reception of the detection signal by the receiving means 23 are provided.
