PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method of a multistage electric heater composed of a plurality of heating elements. SOLUTION: Resistance of individual heaters of a previous multistage heater are dispersed from each other. Instead of those dispersed resistance, in order to make individual heating elements generate same output, concretely, requested normal electric power, the voltages of heating elements are individually adjusted up to the requested normal electric power, depending on the maximum resistance. (When an operation voltage is completely impressed at the maximum resistance, individual heating elements generate the normal electric power necessary for operation.).
