PURPOSE: A hydrostat is provided to achieve improved use convenience and safety by automatically discharging gas from the gas container when the pressure in the gas container has reached a predetermined level and lowering the internal pressure of the gas container. CONSTITUTION: A gas discharge passage(71) is formed in a gas passage connected to a gas injection port, and connected to a sealed chamber(72) formed in a leg of a governor valve(7). A sealing shaft is mounted in the sealed chamber, and a sealing member is mounted at the top of the sealing shaft. A compression spring(76) is mounted at the outer bottom of the sealing member. When the pressure in a gas container(2) has reached a predetermined level, and the gas container is released by a safety device so as to extinguish the flame generated by the gas emitted from the gas container. The gas is evacuated from the gas container at the moment where the internal pressure of the gas container continues to rise after extinguishment of the flame and the gas container is deformed, to thereby prevent explosion of the gas container.
