摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ozonizer having an improved cooling performance at a discharging gap and forming the discharging gap for generating clean ozone. SOLUTION: The ozonizer is comprised of a flat plate low voltage electrode 7, a flat plate high voltage electrode 3 opposed to the main face of the low voltage electrode 7, a spacer to form a thin discharging gap 6 toward a direction of a flat plate dielectric 5 set between the low voltage electrode 7 and the high voltage electrode 3 and a direction of the layers and a high voltage electrode cooling unit 2 where a cooling water flow path 2c isolated with the high voltage electrode 3 in the high voltage electrode 3 is formed. When an alternating current voltage is applied between the low voltage electrode 7 and the high voltage electrode 3, electric discharge is allowed to occur at the discharging gap 6 where oxygen is injected and then ozone is generated.
