PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate heavy work of manual unloading by mechanizing loading work or unloading work of loads loaded with no clearance nor a pallet in a container, without making a large modification of the container itself or providing a large-scale device in the container or outside, thereby coping with workers' aging and improvement of work efficiency in container unloading and loading work. SOLUTION: As a cargo handling device for unloading or loading in a box body 10 serving as a container outer shell, a floor plate 13 longitudinally movable by a cylinder 15 is disposed on a bottom part, and a push wall 12 with the side part lockable to the box body 10 side is provided on the floor plate 13 so that only the floor plate 13 moves when locked and that the push wall moves together with the floor plate when moved.
