PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rolling suppressing effect of a vehicle in a suspension device for the vehicle having left side and right side cylinders provided between the body side and wheel side members of the right and left sides of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The direction of the operating force generated between the body side and wheel side members of the left and right sides of the vehicle becomes reverse during the turning of the vehicle. A difference occurs between the pressure of the hydraulic pressure chamber 24 of the left side cylinder 10 and that of the hydraulic pressure chamber 28 of the right side cylinder 12, but since a lateral communication control valve 82 is closed, the flow of the working liquid between these chambers 24 and 28 is stopped. In a working controller 40, since the one hydraulic pressure of the chambers 58 and 60 is increased and the other hydraulic pressure is decreased, the control piston 52 is held in a balanced state. The operations of the cylinders 10 and 12 are stopped, and hence the rolling amount can be suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
