PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be user-friendly in the transmission of information in the case of transmitting and receiving a message including the request of the prescribed function of a concerned network unit in the control area of a service provider. SOLUTION: Information on whether network units (5, 5a; 6, 6a) support a requested function is given to other equipments (1, 1a; 2, 2a; 5, 5a; 6, 6a) concerned with data exchange from the network units or received by the latter.
