A flight obstacle light having a body (figure 4-1) on which is fitted an electronics part of the light for controlling the light sources, said electronics part comprising at leats one horizontal circuit board on which are fitted a light emitting semiconductor light source unit, such as a LED, Light Emitting Diode, and a lens structure for directing the light horizontally omnidirectionally (figure 4-4), and a switching unit (figure 4-2) for connecting a supply voltage to the flight obstacle light, wherein the light source or light sources of the semiconductor light source unit are fitted vertically on the circuit board and a lens/lenses directing the light horizontally is/are fitted on the light source/sources in such manner (figure 4-4 and figure 2b) that the flight obstacle light will produce the required illumination pattern. |
