PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a reaper of a head-feeding combine harvester has inferior general-purpose properties and adaptability of crop bodies to lodging the further, undesirable formation of bundles when stems and culms are bundled though a stem and culm cutting apparatus for cutting the crop bodies, binding the stems and culms and discharging the bound stems and culms to a field, and a roll baler, or the like, are installed on the rear side of the reaper. SOLUTION: This roll baler apparatus is designed to raise up and rake in the crop bodies, or the like, with a reel apparatus 5 mounted in the front part of a general-purpose combine harvester, reap the raked in crop bodies, or the like, with reaping blade apparatuses 6, rake in and transfer the reaped crop bodies, or the like, with a raking in transfer roller apparatus 7 and transfer the reaped crop bodies, or the like, to the upper rear with a transfer conveyor apparatus 8. The roll baler 12 is installed at the rear of the transfer conveyor apparatus 8 of the combine harvester and a stem and culm cutting apparatus 11 is provided between the transfer conveyor apparatus 8 and the roll baler 12.
