SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of working bottom portion of diamond for imparting to it round shape by facing two semifinished diamonds one about another; placing semifinished diamonds in the same plane by inclination angle equal to that of bottom portion of diamond and imparting reciprocation motion to them in direction of contact line; feeding removed material normally relative to contact line.
