PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous heat sensitive adhesive composition capable of heating for drying at a higher temperature in producing a heat sensitive adhesive sheet obtained by installing an adhesive layer obtained by applying the aqueous heat sensitive adhesive composition, excellent in blocking resistance in preserving for a long period and having a high adhesive property and transparency. SOLUTION: This aqueous heat sensitive adhesive composition contains a thermoplastic resin and a solid plasticizer, and is characterized by using, as the thermoplastic resin, an acrylonitrile-butadiene-based latex, and as the solid plasticizer, a compound having≥70°C melting point. The solid plasticizer is at least one kind selected from (i) a phosphoric acid ester-based compound, (ii) a phthalic acid ester-based compound, (iii) a hindered phenol-based compound, (iv) a triazole-based compound and (v) a hydroquinone-based compound.
