PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain selection and use of a plurality of color conversion functions and to prevent color processing against the intention of a user. SOLUTION: An image conversion method includes: a first color conversion step for converting an input image signal into an output image signal so as to be faithfully reproduced on a monitor; a second color conversion step of converting the input image signal into an output image signal corresponding to a stored color to be preferably reproduced, and a selection step for selecting first and second color conversion steps, and colors are converted by using the color conversion step selected by the selection step.
