PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner in which workability for assembling a handle on a main body of the cleaner is improved and the handle is not easily detached. SOLUTION: A handle 14 provided on the upper part of a main body 1 of the cleaner is composed of a lower component 15 and an upper component 16, a catch 21 formed on at least one end side of the lower component 15 is locked in a lock hole 12 on the upper part of the main body 1 of the cleaner, and the upper component 16 is formed with a movement block pawl 27 for blocking the movement of the lower component 15 in the direction to disengage the catch 21 and the lock hole 12 on the main body of the cleaner.
